Trevor Welch, a classically trained pianist and composer, began his music career at 7-time Grammy Award winner Jim Scott’s studio. He cut his teeth on recordings for Interscope, Warner Bros, and others as a multi-instrumentalist and assistant. He wrote his first film score that same year, and has since scored documentaries, feature length narratives and short films - including "AXEL", winner of "Best Short" and "Best Composer" at Los Angeles Documentary Film Festival and “From Time Without Beginning”, selected at over 20 film festivals. As a music producer, he has had solo work released on Tanukineiri Records (Japan) and Lady Boy Records (Iceland) as well as productions with Chance the Rapper, Boi-1da, and executive production duties for a full-length album for Savemoney’s Brian Fresco in Chicago. As a member of DJ/Producer group “Tommy Noble”, he toured as support for Tiësto, Steve Aoki, Porter Robinson and others, releasing original music and remixes on Big Fish Recordings, Dim Mak Records, and Sony Music Entertainment/Fearless Records. He has created bespoke music for advertisements for clients such as LEGO, Aston Martin, and Avión Tequila. As a sound designer, he re-created the synth sounds for the film music live production of Matilda, conducted and originally composed by David Newman, performed by the Houston Symphony and others.
